  • TIKoRO programs combine community-building activities through games, African dance, modern dance, creative movement and music to inspire students to bridge cultures and generational gap. The program develops character, and artistic voice to affect change and build trust.

  • TIKoRO serves students from Pre-K to 12th grade.

  • We bring our dance program to your school or community in all five boroughs of New York City: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island.

  • The TIKoRO dance program can take place at the school's location, in the school gym or classroom.

  • The TIKoRO dance program is available during the school year or summer school break.The TIKoRO dance program can be scheduled during school hours, before and after school, and during summer sessions.

  • For optimal learning, we recommend keeping each group under 30 students. However, there is flexibility with group sizes, and we can accommodate larger groups as needed.

  • Costs vary, so it's best to call and discuss pricing. Programs are tailored to community needs and usually start at around 500$ USD

  • Reservations can be made with lead times ranging from 1 week to 3 months.

  • In addition to conducting our dance programs in English, we provide dedicated support for English language learners (ELL). Our instructors are trained to use visual aids, gestures, and simplified language to ensure comprehension and engagement for all students. Our goal is to create an inclusive and supportive environment where all students feel empowered to express themselves through dance, regardless of their language proficiency.
